Product Overview
KORVANTO KAO METAKAOLIN™ is a highly reactive pozzolanic material produced by the controlled calcination of high-purity kaolin clay. During this process kaolinite is transformed into an amorphous aluminosilicate structure with exceptional reactivity making it a valuable supplementary cementitious material for construction and industrial applications.
Engineered to enhance strength durability and long-term performance KORVANTO KAO METAKAOLIN™ reacts with calcium hydroxide generated during cement hydration to form additional cementitious compounds. This results in denser microstructures reduced permeability improved chemical resistance and superior mechanical properties.
In addition to construction applications the product is widely used in paints pigments rubber plastics wire & cable compounds and specialty industrial formulations where high whiteness fine particle size and reinforcing properties are required.
